General Description

3-Fluorophenylacetyl chloride is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C8H7ClF. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid that is primarily used as a building block in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. 3-FLUOROPHENYLACETYL CHLORIDE is a highly reactive acylating agent, capable of reacting with nucleophiles to form a wide variety of organic compounds. It is also used as an intermediate in the manufacturing of dyes, pigments, and other fine chemicals. 3-Fluorophenylacetyl chloride is known to be a strong irritant to the eyes, skin, and respiratory system, and should be handled with caution in a well-ventilated area with appropriate personal protective equipment.
