Regioisomeric methyl 5-(N-Boc-cycloaminyl)-1,2-oxazole-4-carboxylates were prepared by the reaction of β-enamino ketoesters (including azetidine, pyrrolidine or piperidine enamines) with hydroxylamine hydrochloride.
