Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 49834-28-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,9,8,3 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 49834-28:
(7*4)+(6*9)+(5*8)+(4*3)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*8)=158
158 % 10 = 8
So 49834-28-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Weak base-promoted selective rearrangement of oxaziridines to amidesviavisible-light photoredox catalysis

Park, Jin,Park, Sehoon,Jang, Gwang Seok,Kim, Ran Hui,Jung, Jaehoon,Woo, Sang Kook

, p. 9995 - 9998 (2021/10/06)

The selective rearrangement of oxaziridines to amidesviaa single electron transfer (SET) pathway is unexplored. In this study, we present a weak base-promoted selective rearrangement of oxaziridines to amidesviavisible-light photoredox catalysis. The developed method shows excellent functional group tolerance with a broad substrate scope and good to excellent yields. Furthermore, control experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations are performed to gain insight into the reactivity and selectivity.

Catalyst-free synthesis of phenanthridinesviaelectrochemical coupling of 2-isocyanobiphenyls and amines

Malviya, Bhanwar Kumar,Singh, Karandeep,Jaiswal, Pradeep K.,Karnatak, Manvika,Verma, Ved Prakash,Badsara, Satpal Singh,Sharma, Siddharth

, p. 6367 - 6378 (2021/04/16)

Catalyst free synthesis of 6-aryl phenanthridines and amides through an electrochemical reaction is reported in this study. The coupling reaction proceeds by the cathodic reduction ofin situformed diazonium ions, which are formed from anilines and an alkyl nitrite. The generated aryl radical diazonium ions coupled from isocyanides furnished the desired products in good yields. This cascade reaction was conducted in an undivided cell equipped with an RVC as the anode and Pt as the cathode usingnBu4NBF4as the electrolyte at room temperature. A series of detailed mechanistic studies have also been performed, including a radical clock experiment and cyclic voltammetry analysis.

Equivalent Loading of Directed Arenes in Pd(II)-Catalyzed Oxidative Cross-Coupling of Aryl C-H Bonds at Room Temperature

Mei, Chong,Zhao, Mengdi,Lu, Wenjun

, p. 2714 - 2733 (2021/02/01)

The unsymmetrical biaryls (Ar1-Ar2) produced by the catalytic cross-couplings of aryl halides (Ar1-halo) with aryl metallics (Ar2-M) in the loading ratio of 1:1 are popular in chemical synthesis. In contrast, there has been less precedence on the same biaryls produced effectively from two normal aryl C-H bonds with equivalent loading. Here, we report that, in a palladium/oxidant/acid catalytic system at room temperature, one arene (Ar1-H, 1 equiv) can highly selectively couple with the other one (Ar2-H, 1 equiv) to afford the target Ar1-Ar2 just by controlling the directing groups and the substituted groups on their phenyl rings. The utility of this one-one cross-coupling is also demonstrated by synthesis of a few bioactive molecules.

Cobalt(III)-Catalyzed Construction of Benzofurans, Benzofuranones and One-Pot Orthogonal C?H Functionalizations to Access Polysubstituted Benzofurans

Bera, Sourav Sekhar,Debbarma, Suvankar,Jana, Sripati,Maji, Modhu Sudan

, p. 2204 - 2210 (2018/06/07)

Benzofuran and benzofuranone derivatives have been synthesized through exclusive 5-exo-dig intramolecular hydroarylation using the amide-directed, cost-effective, high-valent Cp*CoIII-catalytic system. Challenging one-pot, orthogonal C?H functionalizations using two different electrophiles are also reported to afford polysubstituted benzofurans. Several valuable functional group interconversions along with removal of the amide directing group provide a route to access several diversely functionalized benzofurans. The mechanistic study suggests a reversible cobaltation step is operative here. (Figure presented.).

Cp?CoIII-Catalyzed syn-Selective C-H Hydroarylation of Alkynes Using Benzamides: An Approach Toward Highly Conjugated Organic Frameworks

Bera, Sourav Sekhar,Debbarma, Suvankar,Ghosh, Avick Kumar,Chand, Santanu,Maji, Modhu Sudan

, p. 420 - 430 (2017/04/26)

Hydroarylation of internal alkynes by cost-effective CoIII-catalysis, directed by N-tert-butyl amides, is achieved to avail mono- or dihydroarylated amide products selectively in an atom and step economic way. Several important functional groups were tolerated under the reaction conditions, and syn-hydroarylation products were exclusively isolated. Notably, a 4-fold C-H hydroarylation provided a highly conjugated organic framework in one step. Kinetic study with extensive deuterium labeling experiments were performed to support the proposed mechanism.

Organic template-free synthesis of zeolite Y nanoparticle assemblies and their application in the catalysis of the Ritter reaction

Tang, Ting,Zhang, Lei,Dong, Hai,Fang, Zhongxue,Fu, Wenqian,Yu, Quanyong,Tang, Tiandi

, p. 7711 - 7717 (2017/02/05)

Zeolite Y nanoparticle assemblies (Y-NA) with a mesoporous structure were directly synthesized at 75?°C for 16 h without adding any organic templates. The changes in structure, morphology and textural parameters of the materials obtained after different crystallization times were investigated via powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and N2-sorption. The results show that Y-NA had a micro-mesoporous structure composed of highly crystalline particle assemblies with sizes of 400-900 nm. The H-form Y-NA (HY-NA) is strongly acidic, and exhibits a good catalytic performance in the Ritter reaction, as compared with the H-form microporous zeolite Y and mesoporous zeolite ZSM-5.
