A convergent and straightforward synthetic method to prepare deaza-analogs of squalene epoxidase inhibitors
Gotteland, Jean-Pierre,Guilhem, Marie-Christine,Halazy, Serge
, p. 2925 - 2934 (1996)
A general route to deaza-analogs of squalene epoxidase inhibitors of general formula A is described using a very convergent synthetic scheme illustrated by the preparation of compound 2b. A Heck reaction, and an enolate condensation with an appropriate electrophile are the key steps of the expedient elaboration of 2b or analogs.
Silyl modification of biologically active compounds. 3. Organosilicon derivatives of aminoalcohols in the series of tetrahydroquinoline, tetrahydroisoquinoline, and tetrahydrosilaisoquinoline
Lukevits,Segal,Zablotskaya,Germane
, p. 682 - 688 (2007/10/03)
The N-(2′-hydroxyethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline, -isoquinoline, and -silaisoquinoline, and their trimethyl-and triethylsilyl derivatives and the corresponding methiodides were synthesized. The acute toxicity and psychotropic activity of the compounds synthesized were studied. 1997 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
