General Description

2,5-Piperazinedione, 1-(phenylmethyl)- is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C11H12N2O2. It is also known as phenylimide of piperazinedione and is commonly used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. This chemical is a white to off-white solid with a melting point of around 117-118°C and is sparingly soluble in water. 2,5-Piperazinedione, 1-(phenylmethyl)- is used in the synthesis of various drugs and can also be employed as a building block in organic chemistry reactions.
