6531-74-4 Usage
General Description
N-(aminoiminomethyl)-4-Pyridinecarboxamide, also known as pyridoxamine, is a chemical compound that belongs to the family of pyridinecarboxamides. It is a form of vitamin B6 and is commonly used as a dietary supplement. Pyridoxamine is known for its ability to inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which are associated with a variety of diseases including diabetes, kidney disease, and cardiovascular disease. It also has antioxidant properties and has potential therapeutic applications in treating conditions related to oxidative stress and inflammation. Pyridoxamine has been studied for its potential role in protecting against diabetic nephropathy, cataracts, and other complications associated with high blood sugar levels.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6531-74-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,5,3 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6531-74:
(6*6)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*1)+(2*7)+(1*4)=94
94 % 10 = 4
So 6531-74-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and Properties of sym-Triazine Derivatives. 7. Synthesis of Pyridyl-Substituted 2-Amino- and 2,4-Diamino-sym-triazines

N-Substituted 2,4-diamino-6-pyridyl-sym-triazines were synthesized by cyclocondensation of pyridinecarboxylic acid esters with biguanides. 4,6-Disubstituted 2-amino-sym-triazines containing pyridyl residues were obtained by the reaction of pyridinecarboxylic acid nitriles with quanidine or of pyridinecarboxylic acid esters with N-imidoylguanidines.Aminotriazines of this type are also formed in the condensation of N-acylguanidines with nitriles or imino esters. The general principles of the fragmentation of 2-amino-4-dialkylamino-6-pyridyl-sym-triazines under the influence of electron impact were established.
