Uses
Used in Dietary Supplements:
Pyridoxamine is used as a dietary supplement to support the body's vitamin B6 requirements, which are essential for various metabolic processes, including the synthesis of amino acids, neurotransmitters, and hemoglobin.
Used in Pharmaceutical Applications:
Pyridoxamine is employed as a therapeutic agent for conditions related to oxidative stress and inflammation. Its antioxidant properties make it a promising candidate for the treatment of diseases associated with oxidative damage, such as neurodegenerative disorders and inflammatory conditions.
Used in Diabetes Management:
Pyridoxamine is used as a potential therapeutic agent for managing diabetes and its complications. Its ability to inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) makes it a valuable asset in the prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy, cataracts, and other complications associated with high blood sugar levels.
Used in Antioxidant Formulations:
Pyridoxamine is utilized in antioxidant formulations to combat oxidative stress and protect the body from damage caused by reactive oxygen species. Its antioxidant properties contribute to the maintenance of cellular health and the prevention of oxidative stress-related diseases.
Used in Research and Development:
Pyridoxamine is used in research and development for exploring its potential applications in various fields, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics. Its unique properties and potential therapeutic benefits make it an interesting subject for further investigation and product development.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6531-74-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,5,3 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6531-74:
(6*6)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*1)+(2*7)+(1*4)=94
94 % 10 = 4
So 6531-74-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and Properties of sym-Triazine Derivatives. 7. Synthesis of Pyridyl-Substituted 2-Amino- and 2,4-Diamino-sym-triazines
Kelarev, V. I.,Karakhanov, R. A.,Bellul', M.,Ushakova, R. L.,Mikaya, A. I.
, p. 550 - 555 (2007/10/02)
N-Substituted 2,4-diamino-6-pyridyl-sym-triazines were synthesized by cyclocondensation of pyridinecarboxylic acid esters with biguanides. 4,6-Disubstituted 2-amino-sym-triazines containing pyridyl residues were obtained by the reaction of pyridinecarboxylic acid nitriles with quanidine or of pyridinecarboxylic acid esters with N-imidoylguanidines.Aminotriazines of this type are also formed in the condensation of N-acylguanidines with nitriles or imino esters. The general principles of the fragmentation of 2-amino-4-dialkylamino-6-pyridyl-sym-triazines under the influence of electron impact were established.
