Synthesis and biological evaluation of lipophilic nucleoside analogues as inhibitors of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases
Nautiyal, Manesh,Gadakh, Bharat,De Graef, Steff,Pang, Luping,Khan, Masroor,Xun, Yi,Rozenski, Jef,Van Aerschot, Arthur
, (2019/10/22)
Emerging antibiotic resistance in pathogenic bacteria and reduction of compounds in the existing antibiotics discovery pipeline is the most critical concern for healthcare professionals. A potential solution aims to explore new or existing targets/compoun
PRODRUGS OF GLUTAMINE ANALOGS
-
Page/Page column 94; 95, (2017/02/28)
Prodrugs of glutamine analogs, such as prodrugs of aza-serine, and 6-diazo-5-oxo-norleucine (DON), and 5-diazo-4-oxo-L-norvaline (L-DONV) are disclosed.
Dual enzyme-responsive "turn-on" fluorescence sensing systems based on in situ formation of 7-hydroxy-2-iminocoumarin scaffolds
Debieu, Sylvain,Romieu, Anthony
, p. 10348 - 10361 (2015/10/28)
A new strategy for the simultaneous fluorogenic detection of two distinct enzyme activities namely hydrolase (amidase or esterase) and reductase is described. This innovative biosensing method is based on the powerful "covalent-assembly" principle that in
Versatile approach to α-alkoxy carbamate synthesis and stimulus-responsive alcohol release
Mosey, R. Adam,Floreancig, Paul E.
supporting information, p. 7980 - 7985 (2013/06/27)
A series of α-alkoxy carbamates that cleave under mild conditions to release alcohols has been synthesized through a multicomponent process. The relationship between structural features in these compounds and the rate of alcohol release in the presence of basic hydrogen peroxide has been studied. The preparation of carbamates that cleave under other conditions has been demonstrated.
PHOSPHONATED RIFAMYCINS AND USES THEREOF FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF BONE AND JOINT INFECTIONS
-
Page/Page column 117-114, (2010/04/03)
The present invention relates to phosphonated Rifamycins, and methods of making and using such compounds. These compounds are useful as antibiotics for prophylaxis and/or the treatment of bone and joint infections, especially for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of osteomyelitis.
Chemoenzymatic synthesis of N-Ras lipopeptides
N?gele, Edgar,Schelhaas, Michael,Kuder, Norman,Waldmann, Herbert
, p. 6889 - 6902 (2007/10/03)
For the study of biological phenomena influenced by the plasma-membrane- bound Ras proteins and other lipidated proteins, characteristic peptides which embody the correct lipid modifications of their parent proteins (palmitoyl thioesters and farnesyl thio
