SYNTHESIS OF MANGANESE(I) CARBONYLS WITH ?-BONDED ALKYNYL LIGANDS

A number of ?-alkynylcarbonyl complexes of manganese(I), 5-n(CCR)>, have been obtained from bromocarbonyl complexes 5-nBr> by treatment with silver(I) or copper(I) acetylides, and from perchlorato complexes 5-n(OClO3)> by treatment with 1-alkyne and base.New ?-alkynyl compounds can also be obtained from other alkynyl complexes by reactions involving replacement of CO ligands.
