Uses

SULFADIMETHYLDIAZINE (57-68-1) is used for the prevention and treatment of infection of staphylococcus and streptococcus, as well as having inhibiting effect for haemolytic streptococcus and pleurisy cocci bacteria. It is mainly used for curing cholera fowl, fowl typhoid and coccidiosis in chicken.

SULFADIMETHYLDIAZINE (57-68-1) is synthesized from sulphaguanidine and acetylacetone by cyclization.
