After 30 min, the heating bath was removed and an addnl. 135 mL IV was added. The mixt. was heated at 150° to give a polymer having reduced viscosity (0.2% in CHCl3, 25°) 0.80, tensile strength 9.520 psi, elongation at break 115%, pendulum impact strength >250 ft lb/in3, and glass temps. 155°. .
