The halomethane is CH3Cl [74-87-3], CH2Cl2 [75-09-2], CHCl3 [67-66-3], CCl4 [56-23-5], CH3F [593-53-3], CH2F2 [75-10-5], CHF3 [75-46-7], CF4 [75-73-0], CH3Br [74-83-9], CH2Br2 [74-95-3], CHBr3 [75-25-2], or CBr4 [558-13-4]. The wastewater is previously concd., and the BOD source is carbohydrates, org. wastewater, alc., or org. acid. A byproduct, H2S, is continuously removed during the treatment.
