Bismuth telluride Specification

The Bismuth telluride, with the cas registry number 1304-82-1, has the systematic name of bismuth(3+) telluride (2:3). This is a kind of gray or black hexagonal platelets with a metallic luster or gray powder. Being sensitive to moisture, it is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents such as nitric acid or bromine, chlorine or fluorine.

As to its usge, it is widely applied in many ways. It is available for a semiconductor and it is usually used as an efficient thermoelectric material for refrigeration or portable power generation.

When you are dealing with this chemical, you should be very cautious. For being a kind of harmful chemical which may cause damage to health. It is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin and if by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed, it will be dangerous. Therefore, you should wear suitable protective clothing and if in case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

In addition, you could convert the following datas into the molecular structure:
(1)SMILES:[Te-2].[Te-2].[Te-2].[Bi+3].[Bi+3]
(2)InChI:InChI=1/2Bi.3Te/q2*+3;3*-2
(3)InChIKey:AZFMNKUWQAGOBM-UHFFFAOYAF
