Uses of Butanenitrile,4-(chlorodimethylsilyl)-: it can be used to produce 4-(hepta-1,6-diynyl-dimethyl-silanyl)-butyronitrile and 4-({7-[(3-cyano-propyl)-dimethyl-silanyl]-hepta-1,6-diynyl}-dimethyl-silanyl)-butyronitrile. This reaction will need reagent EtMgBr and solvent tetrahydrofuran. This reaction needs two steps. The yield is about 77%.
