SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a pyridine compound represented by the formula (1), including a process for reacting a cyano acetic acid ester compound represented by the formula (2) with an enone compound represented by the formula (3) in the presence of a base, then conducting a cyclization process by an acid treatment to generate a compound of the formula (1), and a process for extracting the resulting reaction product in a water layer, and then re-extracting the same in an organic layer.
