Pim inhibitors

Pim inhibitors are a class of compounds that target the Pim family of serine/threonine kinases, specifically Pim-1, Pim-2, and Pim-3. These kinases play crucial roles in regulating cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. By inhibiting Pim kinases, these inhibitors can interfere with signaling pathways involved in cancer development and progression. Pim inhibitors are being investigated as potential therapeutic agents in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors where Pim kinases are overexpressed and contribute to tumor growth and resistance to treatment.
