Preparation ofImidodicarbonic acid,1,3-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl) ester: this chemical is prepared by reaction of 2-Methyl-propan-2-ol with Carbonyl isocyanate isothiocyanate.



The reaction occurs with reagent petroleum ether at temperature of 5 °C. The yield is 55%.

Uses of Imidodicarbonic acid,1,3-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl) ester: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce N,N-di-tert-butoxycarbonyl-N-allylamine.



The reaction occurs with reagent K2CO3 and solvent Dimethylformamide at ambient temperature for 2 hours. The yield is 86%.
