Poison by intraperitoneal and subcutaneous routes. Moderately toxic by intravenous and intramuscular routes. Mildly toxic by ingestion. Experimental teratogenic and reproductive effects. Mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of POx and Na2O.
