Dehydrochlorination of germylene-transition metal complexes of the type Cl2GeCr(CO)5.Ph2C=NH or Cl2GeCr(CO)5.PhCH=NOH stabilized by complexation with imine od oxime was investigated.New germylene complexes were obtained by reaction with amine or by reaction with bis(triethylgermyl)mercury.Such compounds were also prepared from germylene complexes Cl2M(CO)5.THF by exchange reaction with organogermanes Et3GeY where Y = N<, OR, SR.The stabilization of these complexes by self-association depends on the nature of the heteroelement Y linked to germanium.
