Electrochemical methoxylation of substituted 4H-imidazole 1,3-dioxides has been carried out for the first time.Nitroxyl radicals of the 2- and 3-imidazoline series with methoxy groups at the α-carbon atom of the radicals site were synthesized.The yields a
