Irradiation of 1,1,2-triarylcyclopropanes and vinyl ether in acetonitrile in the presence of cyano aromatic sensitizers resulted in the formation of cyclopentanes as a results of <3+2> cycloaddition of cyclopropyl cation radical with the nucleophilic alkene.
