The title ΔZLeu containing N-formyltripeptide 2, has been synthesized and found active in the superoxide production whereas inactive in the stimulation of human neutrophil migration.The X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that 2 adopts a β-turn conformation stabilized by an intramolecular H-bond.
