The geometric parameters of the title compound, (2S)-2-[(2R,4S)-4-phenyl-3-tosyl-1,3-oxazolidin-2-yl] cyclo-pentanone, C21H23NO4S, are in good agreement with other arylsulfonyl-oxazolidines. While the oxazolidine ring displays an envelope conformation, the cyclopentanone ring has a twist conformation.
