Synthesis of dihalopicoline N-oxides and their 4-nitro derivatives

Three aminohalo-substituted α- and β-picolines, six dihalo-substituted α- and β-picolines, six dihalo-substituted α- and β-picoline N-oxides and six respective dihalo-4-nitropicoline N-oxides were synthesized in excellent yields.
