Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and electron nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) spectra of 14NH3+ and 15NH3+, generated by X-ray irradiation of NH3 in argon and neon matrices, and of CH3 and 13CH3, generated in an argon matrix from CH3I during codeposition with Cs atoms, have been recorded.Analysis of the ENDOR spectra shows that the EPR spectra are inhomogeneously broadened due to a distribution of coupling constants for the central atom.
