The reactions of 8-chloro-7-(β-chloro-γ-hydroxypropyl)-3-methylxanthine with primary and secondary amines have been studied.A method has been developed for obtaining derivatives of 7-hydroxy-1-methyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-3H-pyrimido<2,1-f>xanthine.The structures of the compounds synthesized have been confirmed by IR and PMR spectroscopy.
