An Efficient Approach for Immobilizing the Oxo-Vanadium Schiff Base

mer-bound catalyst (1 mol%). The resulting mixture was
heated at 508C for the time reported in the Table 1. Com-
pletion of the reaction was analyzed by TLC. After comple-
tion of the reaction, the catalyst was separated by filtration
or by precipitation with diethyl ether followed by filtration
and reused as such for subsequent experiments. The filtrate
so obtained was concentrated under reduced pressure and
dissolved in dichloromethane (10 mL). The organic layer
was washed with water (215 mL), dried over anhydrous
MgSO4. The solvent was removed under vacuum to give cor-
