New efficient methods for synthesis of enalH₂ or 1,6-bis(2-pyridyl)- 2,5-bis(2-hydroxy-3-formyl-5-methylbenzyl)-2,5-diazahexane 1a and of tnalH₂ or 1,7-bis(2-pyridyl) -2,6-bis(2-hydroxy-3-formyl-5-methylbenzyl)-2,6- diazaheptane, 1b are described.
