Oleanolic acid 3-O-(3'-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucuronopyranoside and its 28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester have been isolated from aerial parts of Zexmenia buphthalmiflora.The chemotaxonomical significance of the transfer of Wedelia buphthalmiflora to Zexmenia buphthalmiflora is discussed.
