Triazole Containing Novel 2-(5-(4-(1H-Benzo[d]

[1,2,3]triazol-1-yl)phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenols
bacteria, and compounds 5b, 5d, 5g, 6b, 6d, and 6e showed good
activity against Gram-negative bacteria as comparable with that of
standard drug tested. So the result of all preliminary studies indicated
that the substituted (E)-1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-(4-(phenylthio)
phenyl)prop-2-en-1-one(E)-3-(4-(1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-yl)
phenyl)-1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one and 2-(5-(4-(1H-
benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-yl)phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)
phenol moiety represent a new class of pharmacophore for broad
spectrum antimicrobial activity.
