(2S)-1-O-Hexadeca-4'',7'',13''-tetraenoyl-3-O-β-D-galactopyra nosyl glycerol, isolated from the marine alga Oltmannsiellopsis unicellularis (NIES-359), inhibited platelet aggregation induced by U46619, a thromboxane A₂ analogue. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence.
