The study of the thermal dehydration of the compounds CuX2nH2O, where X- were formate, salicylate or phtalate anions, was performed, including the observations of structural changes of compounds during their decomposition.

The activity of a copper-containing catalyst in the liquid-phase oxidation of diethyl sulfide by air was studied. It is established that in the formation of diethyl sulfoxide and diethylsulfone, high catalytic activity is possessed by copper(II) phenolates that contain electron donor substituents in the benzene ring.
