General Description

2-(4-Bromophenylthio)ethanol, also known as 4-Bromophenethyl thioether, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C8H9BrOS. It is a colorless to faintly yellow liquid with a molecular weight of 233.12 g/mol. 2-(4-Bromophenylthio)ethanol is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and as a building block in organic chemistry.
