Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1601-19-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,6,0 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1601-19:
(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*0)+(3*1)+(2*1)+(1*9)=50
50 % 10 = 0
So 1601-19-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Pd/C-Et3N-mediated catalytic hydrodechlorination of aromatic chlorides under mild conditions

Monguchi, Yasunari,Kume, Akira,Hattori, Kazuyuki,Maegawa, Tomohiro,Sajiki, Hironao

, p. 7926 - 7933 (2007/10/03)

A mild and efficient one-pot procedure for the hydrodechlorination of aromatic chlorides using a Pd/C-Et3N system was developed. A variety of aromatic chlorides could be dechlorinated at room temperature and under ambient hydrogen pressure. Et3N activates the catalysis and is likely to work as a single electron donor in this system.

Mild and general procedure for Pd/C-catalyzed hydrodechlorination of aromatic chlorides

Sajiki, Hironao,Kume, Akira,Hattori, Kazuyuki,Hirota, Kosaku

, p. 7247 - 7250 (2007/10/03)

A mild and efficient one-pot hydrodechlorination using a Pd/C-Et3N system proceeds at room temperature, which is general for the dechlorination of a variety of aromatic chlorides.

Indole derivatives useful to treat estrogen-related neoplasms and disorders

-

, (2008/06/13)

The present invention relates to novel indole derivatives useful in down-regulating estrogen receptor expression. Also included are methods for the treatment of neoplasms or of controlling the growth of a neoplasm in a patient afflicted with a neoplastic disease, especially estrogen-dependent neoplasms such as those associated with breast, ovarian and cervical tissue. Another embodiment of the present invention is a method of prophylactically treating a patient at risk of developing a neoplastic disease state. Also provided is a method for treating autoimmune diseases. Also included are pharmaceutical compositions of the novel indole derivatives.
