Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 19987-70-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,9,9,8 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 19987-70:
(7*1)+(6*9)+(5*9)+(4*8)+(3*7)+(2*7)+(1*0)=173
173 % 10 = 3
So 19987-70-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Novel diarylamides and diarylureas with N-substitution dependent activity against medulloblastoma

supporting information, (2021/08/16)

Medulloblastoma – highly aggressive and heterogeneous tumours of the cerebellum – account for 15–20% of all childhood brain tumours, and are the most common high-grade childhood embryonal tumour of the central nervous system. Herein, potent in vitro antic

Room-temperature copper-catalyzed electrophilic amination of arylcadmium iodides with ketoximes

Korkmaz, Adem

, p. 3119 - 3125 (2021/05/10)

We started our study by preparation two ketoximes. Later, there were studies to reveal these ketoximes' effects in the electrophilic amination reaction with organocadmium reagents. Primarily, it was observed that arylcadmium iodides could not be reacted with ketoximes at room temperature in the absence of a catalyst. CuCN was a suitable catalyst for this electrophilic amination reaction of arylcadmium iodides and allowed the preparation of functionalized aniline derivatives in good yields under mild reaction conditions. We obtained the results indicated that the yield of primary arylamines was strongly dependent on the steric and electronic effects of organocadmium reagent and amination agent. In the case of both amination reagents, meta-substituted arylamines were obtained in higher yields than para-substituted arylamines. We observed that acetone O-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)oxime, 1, as an aminating agent, was more successful than acetone O-(2-Naphthylsulfonyl)oxime, 2, in the synthesis of functionalized arylamines by electrophilic amination of corresponding aryl cadmium iodides. In this method, there is no cadmium release to the environment.

Iron-Catalyzed Regioselective Synthesis of 2-Arylbenzoxazoles and 2-Arylbenzothiazoles via Alternative Reaction Pathways

Henry, Martyn C.,Abbinante, Vincenzo Mirco,Sutherland, Andrew

supporting information, p. 2819 - 2826 (2020/04/10)

A one-pot regioselective method for the preparation of 2-arylbenzoxazoles from N-arylbenzamides has been developed using iron(III)-catalyzed bromination of the aryl ring, followed by copper(I)-catalyzed O-cyclization with the benzamide side chain. In contrast, reaction of N-arylthiobenzamides with N-bromosuccinimide and iron triflimide led directly to the isolation of the corresponding 2-arylbenzothiazoles via intramolecular C–S bond formation. Mechanistic and control experiments suggest that in this case, bromination occurs at the sulfur atom, resulting in a reactive intermediate that can undergo electrophilic aromatic substitution and S-cyclization. The scope of both processes was explored yielding a range of structural analogues, including a pharmaceutically active compound for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and an affinity agent of the amyloid-beta protein in Alzheimer's disease.

N-Phenylbenzamide derivatives as alternative oxidase inhibitors: Synthesis, molecular properties, 1H-STD NMR, and QSAR

In the present work, 117 N-phenylbenzamides (NPDs) were prepared and evaluated against recombinant AOX from the fungal pathogen Moniliophthora perniciosa. 1H, 13C NMR, FTIR, and mass spectra provided structural information on NPDs. The library compounds were tested as Alternative Oxidase inhibitors in two different assays using the model yeast Pichia pastoris: cell growth and oxygen consumption assays. The most active compound, 3FH, was further characterized by DRX and 1H-NMR-STD. Single crystal X-ray diffraction showed intra- and intermolecular interactions of 3FH in solid-state and elucidated its 3D structural configuration. 1H-NMR-STD allowed us to derive protein-ligand interactions in a membrane-mimetic system and evidenced an outstanding interaction of 3FH with this enzyme. Results of both biological assays were used as input to Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship models, which highlighted the more important molecular fragments contributions for protein-ligand interaction.

Vanadium-Catalyzed Oxidative C(CO)-C(CO) Bond Cleavage for C-N Bond Formation: One-Pot Domino Transformation of 1,2-Diketones and Amidines into Imides and Amides

Digwal, Chander Singh,Yadav, Upasana,Ramya, P. V. Sri,Sana, Sravani,Swain, Baijayantimala,Kamal, Ahmed

, p. 7332 - 7345 (2017/07/26)

A novel vanadium-catalyzed one-pot domino reaction of 1,2-diketones with amidines has been identified that enables their transformation into imides and amides. The reaction proceeds by dual acylation of amidines via oxidative C(CO)-C(CO) bond cleavage of 1,2-diketones to afford N,N′-diaroyl-N-arylbenzamidine intermediates. In the reaction, these intermediates are easily hydrolyzed into imides and amides through vanadium catalysis. This method provides a practical, simple, and mild synthetic approach to access a variety of imides as well as amides in high yields. Moreover, one-step construction of imide and amide bonds with a long-chain alkyl group is an attractive feature of this protocol.

RhIII-Catalyzed C-H Allylation of Amides and Domino Cycling Synthesis of 3,4-Dihydroisoquinolin-1(2H)-ones with N-Bromosuccinimide

Dai, Huimin,Yu, Chao,Lu, Changsheng,Yan, Hong

supporting information, p. 1255 - 1259 (2016/03/16)

A RhIII-catalyzed C-H allylation of electron-deficient arenes, heteroarenes, and alkenes at room temperature was developed with allyl bromide. The reaction was carried out in diethyl ether without dehydration, and C-H activation was assisted by the directing anionic nitrogen of the aniline-derived amide. Following the allylation, a domino cycling synthesis of 3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2H)-ones with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) through intramolecular aminobromination of the introduced double bond was achieved. A C-H allylation of amides with allyl halides at room temperature and a tandem synthesis of 3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2H)-ones with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) are reported.

α-Glucosidase inhibition of 6-hydroxyflavones. Part 3: Synthesis and evaluation of 2,3,4-trihydroxybenzoyl-containing flavonoid analogs and 6-aminoflavones as α-glucosidase inhibitors

Gao, Hong,Kawabata, Jun

, p. 1661 - 1671 (2007/10/03)

The SAR studies suggested that the C-ring of baicalein (1) was not necessary for the activity, and validated the importance of 2,3,4- trihydroxybenzoyl structure of 1. Thus, a series of 2,3,4-trihydroxybenzoyl- containing flavonoid analogs were investigat
