Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 35369-54-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,5,3,6 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 35369-54:
(7*3)+(6*5)+(5*3)+(4*6)+(3*9)+(2*5)+(1*4)=131
131 % 10 = 1
So 35369-54-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Magneto-structural correlation for binuclear octahedral vanadium(iv)-oxo complexes. Synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of a VIVO2+ complex with a new ligand derived from glycine

Ceccato, Augusto S.,Neves, Ademir,De Brito, Marcos A.,Drechsel, Sueli M.,Mangrich, Antonio S.,Werner, Ruediger,Haase, Wolfgang,Bortoluzzi, Adailton J.

, p. 1573 - 1577 (2000)

The synthesis of a new ligand, H3BBAC (N,N-bis(2-hydroxybenzyl)aminoacetic acid) and its first VIVO2+ complex, [Et3NH]2[O=V(BBAC)]2 (1), are presented in order to model the active site of vanadium tra

Aggregated initiators: defining their role in the ROP of rac-lactide

Cols, Jean-Marie E. P.,Hill, Victoria G.,Williams, Stella K.,McIntosh, Ruaraidh D.

, p. 10626 - 10635 (2018)

Reported examples of aggregated initiators for the ring-opening polymerisation (ROP) of lactide often lack detailed investigations as to the nature of the active species, making it difficult to reconcile ligand design with performance. Here, we offer addi

Potent Photochemotherapeutic Activity of Iron(III) Complexes on Visible Light-induced Ligand to Metal Charge Transfer

Binita Chanu, S.,Musib, Dulal,Pal, Maynak,Pal, Mrityunjoy,Raza, Md Kausar,Roy, Mithun

supporting information, p. 724 - 727 (2020/07/02)

Five new ternary iron(III) complexes with phenolate-based ligands of general molecular formula, [Fe(L1)B] and [Fe(L2)B], where L1 = 2-(bis(2-hydroxybenzyl)amino)acetic acid, L2 = 2-bis[3,5-di(tert-butyl)-2-hydroxybenzyl]aminoacetic acid, B = phen (1,10-phenanthroline), ip (1H-imidazo[4,5-f ][1,10]phen-anthroline) and pyip (2-(pyren-1-yl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f ][1,10]-phenanthroline) were synthesized and probed for visible light-induced cytotoxicity in human cervical carcinoma (HeLa) cells. The complexes in generating hydroxyl radicals from molecular oxygen on visible light-induced phenolate(O)?Fe(III) or carboxylate(O)?Fe(III) charge transfer prompted apoptosis in HeLa cells with IC50 values in the range of 4.624.3 ˉM while remaining non-toxic in dark.

Well-defined Ti4 pre-catalysts for the ring-opening polymerisation of lactide

Cols, Jean-Marie E. P.,Taylor, Cameron E.,Gagnon, Kevin J.,Teat, Simon J.,McIntosh, Ruaraidh D.

, p. 17729 - 17738 (2016/11/18)

The synthesis and full characterisation of four discrete tetrametallic titanium complexes is reported. These well-defined compounds are isostructural in the solid state and share the same general formula: Ti4(μ-O)2L4 (L = 1, 2, 3 or 4). Using a combination of NMR techniques the complexes are found to be stable in solution, even at elevated temperatures. Further studies show that the carboxylate moieties of the supporting amine bis(phenolate) ligands can be displaced by a more strongly coordinating solvent. This reversible process causes the coordinatively saturated Ti4(μ-O)2L4 complexes to separate into two Ti2(μ-O)L2 subunits which we envisaged would be catalytically active. Proof-of-concept experiments establish that all four of these complexes display catalytic activity in the ring-opening polymerisation of rac-lactide. These aggregates can therefore be viewed as air and moisture stable pre-catalysts for a range of reactions.
