37941-54-1 Usage
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Synthesis:
Z-LYS(Z)-GLY-OH is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of Avizafone (A794685), a compound with potential applications in the treatment of various medical conditions. Its role in the synthesis process is to provide a stable and easily modifiable structure that can be further reacted to form the desired pharmaceutical compound.
Additionally, Z-LYS(Z)-GLY-OH is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of Diazepam (D416855), a prodrug used to treat organophosphate poisoning. Its presence in the synthesis process allows for the creation of a compound that can be metabolized in the body to produce Diazepam, providing an effective treatment for organophosphate poisoning.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 37941-54-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,7,9,4 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 37941-54:
(7*3)+(6*7)+(5*9)+(4*4)+(3*1)+(2*5)+(1*4)=141
141 % 10 = 1
So 37941-54-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

"Delicious peptide" was reported to be as delicious as beef soup. The peptide and its fragments were synthesized to study its taste active sites. "Delicious peptide" was found to produce a umami and a sour taste.By preparing several di- or tripeptides composed of basic or acidic amino acids, we found that the taste of "delicious peptide" was produced by an interaction between the basic and the acidic fragments in the peptide.
