5-(2-Bromo-acetyl)-thiophene-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester is a chemical compound, which belongs to the group of organobromides and organosulfur compounds. It comprises of a bromine atom, making it a useful compound in organic synthesis reactions. Its structure embodies both an ester functional group and a carboxylic acid functional group.
