Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 654065-52-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 6,5,4,0,6 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 654065-52:
(8*6)+(7*5)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*5)+(2*5)+(1*2)=158
158 % 10 = 8
So 654065-52-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Triphenylamine- And triazine-containing hydrogen bonded complexes: liquid crystalline supramolecular semiconductors

Feringán, Beatriz,Termine, Roberto,Golemme, Attilio,Granadino-Roldán, José M.,Navarro, Amparo,Giménez, Raquel,Sierra, Teresa

, p. 1972 - 1982 (2021/03/01)

Despite the fact that triphenylamine derivatives have been widely explored as hole-transporting materials, studies on charge transport properties in the liquid crystal phase have been overlooked. Here, it is reported that triphenylamine liquid crystals can attain very high hole mobility values in a hexagonal columnar mesophase, up toμ≈ 5 cm2V?1s?1. The columnar liquid crystalline phase was obtained by a proper design of a supramolecular mesogen, and this is unprecedented for triphenylamine liquid crystals. In fact, the supramolecules were formed by hydrogen-bonded 1?:?3 complexes of a star-shaped triazine core and three triphenylamine peripheral units. The resulting hexagonal columnar mesophase acts as a successful scaffold that confines TPA units at the periphery of columns. Challenging DFT theoretical investigations into a model based on such supramolecular systems involving a large number of atoms were undertaken to explore the stability and geometry of the complexes and their electronic properties.

The liquid crystal Click procedure for oligothiophene-Tethered phthalocyanines-self-Assembly, alignment and photocurrent

Dechant, Moritz,Fujii, Akihiko,Lehmann, Matthias,Ozaki, Masanori,Uzurano, Genya

, p. 5689 - 5698 (2021/05/17)

A series of star-shaped liquid crystals (LCs) with a phthalocyanine donor core, oligothiophene antennae and fullerene acceptors have been successfully prepared. This hierarchical self-Assembly results in a nanosegregated helical donor-Acceptor-Antennae LC-system promoted by the recently discovered Click procedure. This model system reveals all photophysical prerequisites for energy conversion, charge generation and transport. Uniform amorphous thin films of 150 nm could be produced by bar-coating. Annealing did not only induce the formation of columns via the Click procedure but also partially homeotropically aligned the non-clearing sample in a sandwich geometry (ITO and Ag/MoO3). This has been confirmed by microscopic studies and the measurement of photocurrent, which increased by a factor of 300 after the annealing step.

Liquid crystals from shape-persistent porphyrin stars with intrinsic free space

Dechant, Moritz,Gerbig, Lisa,Ghosh, Tapas,Lambov, Martin,Lehmann, Matthias

, p. 5562 - 5571 (2020/05/13)

A small library of shape-persistent, conjugated star-shaped liquid crystals (LCs) with a zinc porphyrin core was successfully synthesized. Different conjugated arms are attached in themeso-positions. The self-assembly is at the limit between liquid crystals and soft crystal phases owing to the space-filling requirement. A model indicates the formation of dimers in double helices. A remarkable mesogen with thiophene linked directly to the porphyrin core generates J-aggregates in solution, which persist in the solid state. In the liquid crystal the J-aggregates disappear but can be reversibly reobtained by solvent treatment.

Columnar Iridium(III) Metallomesogens Based on Polycatenar Pyridyltetrazolate with Ambipolar Carrier Mobility Behavior

Zou, Guo,Zhao, Li,Zeng, Longwei,Luo, Kaijun,Ni, Hailiang,Wang, Haifeng,Li, Quan,Yu, Wenhao,Li, Xuelian

, p. 861 - 869 (2019/01/11)

In this paper, we have designed and synthesized a series of neutral liquid-crystalline iridium(III) complexes based on polycatenar 2,5-diphenylpyridine and pyridyltetrazolate derivatives. Iridium(III) complexes all display highly emissive behavior with photoluminescence quantum yields in the range of 0.45-0.66 and a maximum emission wavelength at ~563 nm. Hexagonal columnar mesophases of iridium(III) complexes can be obtained by changing the number and length of peripheral alkoxyl chains attached to a 2,5-diphenylpyridine ligand (main ligand) and a pyridyltetrazolate ligand (auxiliary ligand). Moreover, experimental results of the charge transport properties for these iridium(III) complexes, which were measured by the space charge limited-current method, exhibit ambipolar carrier mobility behavior. In particular, the liquid-crystalline iridium(III) complexes can self-organize into one-dimensional (1D) nanostructure after thermal annealing treatment in their liquid-crystalline phase. The devices based on liquid crystal film display improved charge transport behavior compared with that of the devices based on polycrystalline film, indicating 1D nanostructure is beneficial to charge carrier injection and transportation.
