Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 89444-36-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,9,4,4 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 89444-36:
(7*8)+(6*9)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*4)+(2*3)+(1*6)=170
170 % 10 = 0
So 89444-36-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Copper-catalyzed aerobic aliphatic C-H oxygenation with hydroperoxides

Too, Pei Chui,Tnay, Ya Lin,Chiba, Shunsuke

supporting information, p. 1217 - 1225 (2013/07/26)

We report herein Cu-catalyzed aerobic oxygenation of aliphatic C-H bonds with hydroperoxides, which proceeds by 1,5-H radical shift of putative oxygen-centered radicals (O-radicals) derived from hydroperoxides followed by trapping of the resulting carboncentered radicals with molecular oxygen.

An effect of application of chiral aluminium alkoxides and amides as adducts to zirconium catalyzed carbo- and cycloalumination of olefins

Khalilov, Leonard M.,Parfenova, Ludmila V.,Pechatkina, Svetlana V.,Ibragimov, Askhat G.,Genet, Jean P.,Dzhemilev, Usein M.,Beletskaya, Irina P.

, p. 444 - 453 (2007/10/03)

This paper is dedicated to a study of properties of the following novel optically active organoaluminium compounds (OACs): (1S,2S)-l,7,7-trimethyl-2-[(dialkylalumina)oxy]-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes and (1S)-N-(dialkylalumina)-6,7-dimethoxy-1-methyl-1,2,3,4 -tetrahydroisoquinolines. The synthesis of the chiral OACs was carried out in the reaction of either natural camphor or salsolidine with both AlEt3 and i-Bu2AlH. The main goal of the research was to investigate the stereodifferentiating activity of the chiral OACs in the olefin carbo- and cycloalumination reactions, catalyzed by Cp2ZrCl2.

The Heterogeneous Catalytic Hydrogenation of Cumulated Allene-cyclopropanes: 1-(2'-Methylpropenylidene)-2-phenylcyclopropane.

The unsymmetrical title compound 2 having phenyl as an activating substituent was hydrogenated in heterogeneous solution phase using supported platinum and palladium as well as Raney nickel catalysts. Data are presented graphically using 'snapshot analysi

Convenient preparation of metals deposited on solid supports and their use in organic synthesis

Majkosza, Mieczyslaw,Nieczypor, Piotr,Grela, Karol

, p. 10827 - 10836 (2007/10/03)

'High-surface alkali metals' can be conveniently prepared via deposition of corresponding metals on various supports such as sodium chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene and cross-linked polystyrene from their solutions in liquid ammonia. Alkali metals deposited on polymeric supports can be stored in form of stable suspensions in inert solvents and used for the acyloin and Dieckmann condensations and for preparation of organolithiums. Addition of the suspension of supported alkali metal to a solution of zinc chloride gave an active zinc on polymeric support, which can be used for the Reformatski and Barbier reactions.
