synthetic method of β-substituted optical active carbonyl compounds
-
Paragraph 0071-0075, (2018/04/06)
The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing compounds such as an andalpha;, andbeta;-substituted optically active carbonyl compound represented by the chemical formula 1-1 and a andbeta;-substituted optically active carbonyl compound represented by the chemical formula 4-1 in a significant manner. The optically active carbonyl compounds can be synthesized through a continuous series of an oxidation reaction, a Michael addition reaction, and a selective andalpha;-oxyamination reaction while using allylic alcohol as a starting material.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
Hollow structural effect of microporous organocatalytic polymers with pyrrolidines: Dramatic enhancement of catalytic performance
Cho, Kyoungil,Yoo, Jin,Noh, Hyeong-Wan,Lee, Sang Moon,Kim, Hae Jin,Ko, Yoon-Joo,Jang, Hye-Young,Son, Seung Uk

Hollow and microporous organic polymers bearing pyrrolidines (H-MOP-P) were prepared by template synthesis and post-synthetic modification. H-MOP-P showed enhanced organocatalytic performance, compared to nonhollow microporous catalysts.
Heterogeneous J?rgensen–Hayashi catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition of malonates to α,β-enals. Cooperative effect with Ca(OTf)2
Guryev, Anton A.,Anokhin, Maksim V.,Averin, Alexei D.,Beletskaya, Irina P.
, p. 469 - 470 (2016/11/30)
Heterogeneous chiral J?rgensen–Hayashi catalyst promotes enantioselective Michael addition of malonates at cinnamic aldehydes. In combination with Ca(OTf)2, it provides high yields (up to 78%) and excellent enantiomeric excesses (up to 99%) of
Enantioselective β-Alkylation of Aldehydes through an Organocatalyzed C-C Bond-Scission Reaction
Huang, Huicai,Abbaraju, Santhi,Zhao, John C.-G.
, p. 1379 - 1382 (2016/06/01)
A novel organocatalyzed C-C bond-scission reaction of saturated aldehydes containing a suitable leaving group at the β-position was used for the in situ formation of iminium intermediates, which were then captured by nucleophiles to achieve a direct enantioselective β-alkylation of aldehydes. Within short reaction times, the corresponding β-alkylated aldehyde products were obtained in high yields (48-87%) and with excellent enantioselectivities (84-98%).

Merging organocatalysis with transition metal catalysis and using O 2 as the oxidant for enantioselective C-H functionalization of aldehydes
Zhao, Yong-Long,Wang, Yao,Hu, Xiu-Qin,Xu, Peng-Fei
supporting information, p. 7555 - 7557 (2013/08/23)
A new catalytic Saegusa oxidation-Michael addition cascade reaction has been developed for the enantioselective β-functionalization of aldehydes. The feature of this research is the combination of organocatalysis and transition-metal catalysis for the asymmetric C-H functionalization which remains an underdeveloped research topic.

, p. 5917 - 5922 (2013/09/23)
The asymmetric Michael addition of malonates to α,β-unsaturated aldehydes using a modified Jorgensen-Hayashi organocatalyst in EtOH:brine solvent media is reported. The procedure proceeds smoothly to afford the corresponding Michael adducts in good yields with excellent enantioselectivities. The resulting Michael adducts represent excellent building blocks for the synthesis of chiral indoles. The asymmetric Michael reaction using a modified Jorgensen-Hayashi organocatalyst in EtOH:brine solvent media is reported. This procedure afforded the corresponding Michael adducts in good yields and with excellent enantioselectivities. The resulting adducts were further used as chiral building blocks for the synthesis of indoles. Copyright
Multistep organocatalysis for the asymmetric synthesis of multisubstituted aldehydes from allylic alcohols
Ho, Xuan-Huong,Oh, Hyun-Ji,Jang, Hye-Young
, p. 5655 - 5659 (2012/11/13)
The combination of a copper complex and a chiral amine organocatalyst induces the formation of multifunctionalized aldehydes from aromatic and aliphatic allylic alcohols. Reactions occur with excellent levels of enantioselectivity, under environmentally benign conditions, and without involving stoichiometric amounts of chemical oxidants for the oxidation of the allylic alcohols or rigorous reaction conditions for transition-metal catalysis.
