Thus, ointments contg. ~2.5 mg I, I acetate, fluocinolone acetonide or II acetate were dissolved and dild. with CHCl3 to 50 mL, which was subjected to pretreatment by chromatog. on a silica gel column (CH2Cl2-MeOH 8:2 as eluent) for the removal of ointment bases. The active fractions were analyzed by HPLC. Measured glucocorticoid concns. were 97-110% of the declared values. .
