Poison by ingestion, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intraperitoneal routes. Experimental reproductive effects. Central nervous system effects. A powerful emetic. A weak sensitizer and may cause contact dermatitis. When heated to decomposition it emits highly toxic fumes of NOx.
