Journal Scope
The Journal of Organic Chemistry (JOC) welcomes original contributions of fundamental research in all branches of the theory and practice of organic chemistry.

The Journal of Organic Chemistry now publishes JOC Featured Articles-full papers selected by Editor-in-Chief C. Dale Poulter and the JOC Associate Editors for special consideration as exceptional contributions to the journal as identified during the review process. Upon acceptance, the galley proofs of these selected manuscripts are prepared and sent to the author on an expedited schedule to facilitate more rapid online and print publication.

JOC Featured Articles are listed online as Article ASAPs on the JOC home page as soon as the corrected galley proof is returned, and will also be posted on a special JOC Featured Articles page. In addition to rapid online posting and indexing, these featured articles will also be paginated at the galley proof stage and included in the next available print issue of the journal.
