- Production Method of Isbufylline
-
Isbufylline (CAS NO.: 90162-60-0), with its systematic name of 1H-Purine-2,6-dione, 3,7-dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-7-(2-methylpropyl)-, could be produced through many synthetic methods.
Following is one of the synthesis routes: Theophylline sodium salt reacts with isobutyl halogenide in N,N-dimethylformamide at 80 C to afford Isbufylline.
