- Production Method of Sivifene
-
Sivifene (CAS NO.: 2675-35-6), with its systematic name of Methanone, bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-, (2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazone, could be produced through many synthetic methods.
Following is one of the synthesis routes: Treatment of a methanolic solution of 4,4-dihydroxybenzophenone with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine in concentrated sulfuric acid and methanol after a brief reflux affords A-007.
