  • Whether your teeth are easy to be decayed or not is doomed after your permanent teeth are developed. Though some people do not eat candies and they brush teeth carefully, they have many decayed teeth. It has much with the genes. But there are still some ways to prevent teeth from being decayed.

The first thing you should do is to use toothpaste with fluoride. The bacteria in the oral cavity release organic acids in the process of metabolism. When these acids meet the teeth, they would dissolve the phosphorite on the surface. But when toothpaste with fluoride is used, the fluoride in it can strengthen the teeth and restrain the bacteria. Therefore, toothpaste with fluoride is effective in protecg teeth. When you choose toothpaste with fluoride, you should make sure that the content of fluoride should meet the standard. Usually, the content of fluoride in a tube should be more than 0.15% and less than 0.04%.

Secondly, you should brush your teeth in a correct way. Some people brush their teeth as they please. But it is not appreciated. Experts advise people to brush teeth in a zigzag way. It is right to start from the up side when you brush the up teeth. And when you brush the teeth at the bottom, the direction should be opposite. Meanwhile, do not forget to brush your gums. Usually, the whole process costs more than three minutes. In addition, you can massage your gums and teeth with fingers regularly to promote the blood circulation in the oral cavity.

Thirdly, you should form the habit of gargling. It is advised to gargle with mouth wash with fluoride every three days to clean the tartar and dental plaques. Besides, gargling with warm water is required after meal.

Fourthly, you are suggested to keep an eye on your dental diseases. Dental plaques and decayed teeth are not frightening. If you suffer from them, turn to doctors for help. Tiny holes in teeth do not need to be repaired at all. You can brush your teeth with a tube of toothpaste, which contains fluoride like sodium monofluorophosphate, to deal with it. It is because that fluoride can make your teeth hard. If the hole is so big that it could not be neglected, you should fill it up in professional hospitals.

Last but not the least, you had better have a balanced diet. Eating vegetables and fruit frequently is helpful. The vitamins in these kinds of food, especially vitamin C, can benefit the growth of gums. And drink warm water instead cold or hot water if you want your oral cavity to be healthy. Besides, do not open hard nuts directly with your teeth.
