The 1-lithia-1-zincaalkenes, formed by the addition of allylzinc bromide to an alkenyllithium derivative, can be selectively mono-protonated,- deuterated, -stannylated or -alkylated leading to highly functionalized zinc compounds wich by reaction with various electrophiles furnish polyfunctionalized products in good yields.
