Deoxydicytidine phosphoramidite, 4-chlorobenzylmercaptan and tetrazole reacted to form dinucleoside thiophosphite.Oxidation with sulfur yields phosphorodithioates which used to synthesize pentadecadeoxyoligonucleotides containing nuclease resistant phosphorodithioate internucleotide linkages.
