A novel one-pot synthesis of fluoroalkylvinyl thiophenes using fluorinated β-ketophosphonium salts as a fluoroalkylvinylation reagent is described.In view of the fact that this one-pot reaction without isolation of intermediates and the total yield on 2 steps reaches 56-82percent, the present method provides a convenient direct introduction of fluoroalkylvinyl group into the thiophene.
