Primary and secondary α-sulfonyl carbanions react with halogenotoluene tricarbonylchromium complexes to give, upon treatment with CF3CO2H, new complexes via ipso, cine and tele nucleophilic aromatic substitution of halogen without the loss of the tricarbonylchromium entity.Key words: Chromium; Arene; Carbonyl; Sulfonyl; Carbanion
